I am a Senior Lecturer in Information Systems at Curtin University, and an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at Murdoch University in Perth. Prior to this I worked in IT consultancy primarily in the resources sector. I hold MSc and PhD degrees in Computer Science and am a Senior Member of the Australian Computer Society and an ACS Certified Professional.
My work focuses not only on technical domains, but also in the interaction of people and technology (human factors) in areas such as electronic learning, information security decision making, and risk evaluation.
Currently I research and teach in the area of Cyber Security. My research interests include Human Factors in Information Security, Social Media, Security Risk Perception in both home and organizational perspectives.
